Tim Dunton-Piedmont Head Coach

Tim Dunton made his debut on the Piedmont sidelines prior to the 2016 season taking over as the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach following the departure of inaugural Coach Pete Manderano. Dunton’s first season (2016) as the leader of the Green and Gold was the fifth season of the program’s existence as the Lions began play in the spring of 2012 as Piedmont’s 14th sport added.

Dunton came to Piedmont following a successful 13-year career as the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts. His first season at PC saw a depleted Lions squad go 1-11 overall after having graduated their first senior class the year prior.

Just prior to accepting his new role at Piedmont, Dunton led Lasell College to a 9-7 overall record in 2015 including a 5-3 record in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). The Lasers earned a postseason win with a 21-8 victory over Rivier in the GNAC Quarterfinals before falling to Emmanuel (MA) in the Semifinals, the eventual GNAC champ
