The Indians won two Deep South Conference championships and reached the championship game all three years Murphy was at Catawba.
A native of Rockville, MD, Murphy grew up in a lacrosse family. His father, two brothers and sister all played lacrosse at the collegiate level. One brother, Tim, also played at Catawba.
