Brendan Gorman is entering his eighth season as head coach of the Babson men’s lacrosse program in 2016-17. In his first seven years at the helm, he has guided the Beavers to an overall record of 72-52, the 2015 NEWMAC regular-season title, and five trips to the conference tournament championship game, including four straight from 2013-16.
Gorman, who was named Pilrgrim League Co-Coach of the Year in 2011 and the NEWMAC Coach of the Year in 2015, also serves as Babson’s Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.
A 2004 graduate of Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, Gorman came to Babson after spending four years as the head assistant coach at the Rochester Institute of Technology. There, he served as the Tigers’ defensive coordinator in 2006 and 2007 and their offensive coordinator in each of the last two seasons. In addition to recruiting and coaching numerous All-Conference and All-American athletes as well as several Academic All-Americans, he also served as the assistant supervisor of RIT’s varsity weight room.
