Brad Conlon joined the NJIT men’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach for the 2014-15 academic year in time to assist the school’s first-ever varsity lacrosse team.
Conlon comes to the Highlanders after spending the previous season as an Assistant Coach at Princeton, where he was assistant defensive coordinator and goaltending coach for a Tigers team that finished with a 7-6 record and was ranked in the national poll at points in the 2014 season. Before coming to Princeton, he spent three years at Division II Pfeiffer, where he was the interim head coach before joining the Tigers. During the last three seasons, he was the team’s defensive coordinator and goalie coach as well.
Pfeiffer went 36-16 in those three years, including 13-4 in 2013, and finished runner-up in the Carolinas Conference to Division II power Limestone each of the three seasons. Pfeiffer produced 14 first-team and seven second-team all-league selections in his three years with the program, and Pfeiffer players combined to earn eight league positional Player of the Year honors.
Prior to working at Pfieffer, Conlon was an assistant coach at another Division III power, Rochester Institute of Technology, for two seasons. Conlon is a 2009 RIT graduate with a bachelor’s in international business marketing, where he was a goalie for the Tigers.
